Out of the little I've heard that was actually released this year, I'd probably have to go with the Under Defeat OST/ASTs.

Brief thread hijack, though: having fallen in love with History Repeats Itself last year (and still hunting for a copy), is it an AST or simply a compilation CD from the Abandoner and Lost Child OSTs?

Same here on the Under Defeat releases. I also like Ibara and I'm looking forward to the Ibara remix cd included with The Lunatic dvd!

Aside from Infinia and some of his remixes of Lost Child tunes the following albums containing his music were released:

No Reality OST
Abandoner OST

I ordered both of these from Y!J a couple of weeks ago, and finally got them yesterday. Man, I knew what I was going to get with Abandoner, but No Reality blew my mind. Such an amazing album. It's interesting to hear his pseudo-Yamaokan style with fresh jazz chord progressions on a new album; looks like he's been doing this for at least 5 years since No Reality hit the streets in 2001. The CDs cost me about $40 each, but they were totally worth it. Add kt2 to the list of VGM composers that have completely ruined me for sugar coated hyper-melodic synth rock...

You can still get copies of the History Repeats Itself album at VGM World: http://www.vgmworld.com/catalog/index.p … em_num=349

The album's basically a compilation CD, although some Abandoner tracks differ a bit from those on the orginal bonus CD included with the game. I wouldn't know about the Lost Child tracks, as to my knowledge they weren't released on a CD previously and I haven't played the game. Also, I believe the first and last tracks on the album (the "repeated scene" tracks), rather than coming from the games, are something like image tracks. A different version of track 1 (The Repeated Scene - Introduction) is on Kt2's Tama Soft Artist Collection Vol 3 album (it's track 3, "The Repeated Scene").

BTW, track 3 (Deeds Not Words) on the History Repeats album is basically the same track as track 12 on the Abandoner OST only there it was (deliberately or accidentally) omitted from the track listing.
