October plays host to yet another one of my most anticipated games this year: the Japanese version of Phoenix Wright: Justice For All, Gyakuten Saiban 2.  I'll save Final Fantasy XII for a later time, but Touch Detective and Contact may be worth checking out.  DVDs, it's Mission: Impossible 3, The Little Mermaid, and X3: The Last Stand.  (So, like, will I be the only one who'll be picking this up?)

Three lovely-looking CD releases: Wild Arms - Rocking Heart, Loco Roco Original Soundtrack, and Rockman ZX Tunes.  I'm curious about that new Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack, too.

CDs:

Wild Arms Music the Best - Rocking Heart

Games:

Contact (DS)
Magical Starsign (DS)

I'll buy Tales of the Abyss and Final Fantasy XII at a later date.

Ffxii. wink

ZX Tunes and Wild Arms Rock Arrange are almost too painful to wait for...They're in, definitely. I'll have to investigate Loco Roco before buying, but Nobuyuki Shimizu proved quite able on Wild Arms 4, so I'm leaning 'yes' on this one.

Gamewise, probably just Snoopy and the Red Baron and (time permitting) Magical Starsign.

In game music, I see nothing to buy this month. I should be excited about the Wild Arms Heart Blaster, but I can't recall a single melody from that series, since I've only listened to music from the first game - and that was several years ago.

In DVD's, I'm hyped about Kim Ki Duk's 13th film, Time. It's due out at the end of this month and I'll be getting it for sure.

Angela, you won't be the only one picking it up.

DVDs:

X-Men: The Last Stand (Widescreen DTS)
Harvey Birdman:  Attorney at Law Volume 2

Games:

From the sound of it I'll probably end up buying Okami after I rent it from Gamefly.  Also for PS2, I'm considering renting The Red Star (the demo years ago seemed fun) and Bully, maybe.  On 360 I'll like to rent Marvel Ultimate Alliance, considering there's nothing worth buying coming out this month I decided to mention what I'll still be playing.  Not having much to buy is fine, considering what all there is to get next month.

Why, oh why, must Capcom torment me? GameFAQs now lists a 10/01 release date for the GBA Mega Man Anniversary Collection, but I'm not holding my breath. I've come to terms with the fact that Duke Nukem Forever will come out before MM:AC ever does.

Anyway, light month for me, with only Touch Detective and The Little Mermaid on my radar. I think Toys R Us usually does its "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" deal in October or early November, so I may also get some Greatest Hits games I've been meaning to get for a while (X-Men Legends, Soul Calibur 3, Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory).

Meh. As a matter of principal I'll be buying the English Phoenix Wright 2 instead, and nothing about FFXII says, 'buy me!' So I'll either buy nothing, or pick up some of the awesomeness of the last two months I have yet to (TaleSpin Volume 1, MMZX, Okami, etc.). If Touch Detective turns out half as good as PW however, I may weaken.

November is DOOMSDAY MONTH for wallets and pocketbooks; especially this year, what with the next generation systems rolling out.  Mmm, it's gonna be *soooooooo* much fun~!

This is definitely one of my most anticipated OSTs of the entire year. I love RRDA, and I am just dying to see how this disc turns out. More Miyake! More Pulse Phaze-esque wackiness!! smile

Well, if you have extra vacation days at your job, you could camp out for a PS3 48 hours in advance and then sell it on ebay for $1000 - $1500.  The chunky profit you'll make should be more than enough to pay for a Wii, Zelda, and all the spiffy DS games on the horizon.

Games:

- Devil Summoner (PS2)
- Contact (DS)
- Children of Mana (DS)

I am so looking forward to playing Devil Summoner. Have been anticipating it for quite some time now. Contact and Children of Mana look like a lot of fun too.
