Just wonderin' if any of you guys managed to pre-order it?  I didn't even try, I figure it would be a zoo... seems like everyone wants to get a copy so they can just put it up on ebay.  Also seems like people are paying $$$ for them.  Why, I simply don't understand.

cheers,

That $700 bundle?  That's crazy.  I can't believe people would actually buy that bundle.  Well, I can, but... y'know.

The idea of Wii stockpiling is a little ridiculous, because isn't Nintendo shipping a second batch before Christmas anyway?

On another note, I bet a cookie the reason people snapped up this pre-order so fast is because they were likely convinced by the chain(s) that it was the only way they could get everything offered. More than likely utter BS. Not that I'm any less a rube - I've been suckered into accepting their word as proof before without any proof to the contrary before (see my little outburst in the Halo 3 Legendary thread). But not this time.

Truth be told, Wii is looking good around tax return time, but this holiday I'm all about the DS, PS2 and GBA goodies.

If the Wii is actually $700, does that mean the ps3 is actually $2000
??

If Nintendo is holding onto a bunch of systems to release before Xmas, I imagine it's to keep ebay vultures from cornering the market supply and then raping consumers with prices right before the holidays.  This way, they can make sure the market has some fresh Wiis right when demand will be highest.

Exactly how did it get to be $700?!  Was that the only bundle they were selling?  Sure sounds crazy...
