I received my sparkling new copy of The Black Mages from Shinobin when the mail resumed at my place after New Years'.  As someone who has probably the least amount of Final Fantasy merchandise of anyone on this board, I had not taken advantage of this album when it first came out, but I had always been curious about it.  Now I can rock out to it morning, noon, and night.  Many thanks.

Alright so.. Patrick (Ramza) is now officially the man.  Not only did he get me an awesome "pre-gift" (Monster Kingdom Jewel Summoner Original Sound Tracks) but my "true gift" came today as well.  He got me the Castlevania Original Soundtrack (Lament of Innocence), the Final Fantasy III Original Soundtrack (DS version), and a $5 Play-Asia coupon!

As for me, I finally got my gift...today.

And I'm trying to see the bright side in it, but I can't.

I mean, I know that the OST for The Rumble Fish is pretty critically acclaimed, but the one thing I asked of my gift Xchange partner, more than anything else, was that it be a soundtrack to an RPG...not a beat-em-up action game.

sigh...........

I recieved a brand spankin' new Castlevania (Lament of Innocence) ost from Mike.  I even got to open it up along with my other Christmas presents!
