A long story short - This past Christmas I got my mom another singing bird clock to replace the other one which, while it kept time accurately, refused to sound the birds. Now, less than two weeks after setting up the new one, it too refuses to chirp. On principle, I refuse to buy said clock a third time, and if there's a quick and easy fix, I'd like to know before I spend a bundle for someone to fix it. Any suggestions?

I suggest trying to get it traded for a good one from the manufacturer.
