Okay I have a question, the 'Overture' from FF8 (last song on the ost), would you consider it appropriate music to play at a graduation?

No idea, but I played "Rainbow of Gravity" from Lennus 2 on mine 6 years ago. Was quite fitting since it has just the right length while other people's picks barely started when they stepped down again already.
Man, if it's graduation you gotta play some kind of Victory Fanfare!

So you made SeeD, did you? Congrats! ^_^
But seriously... wouldn't "Cactus Jack" be a more appropriate piece?
Dunno about no graduation, but I definitely want the Arranged version of The Oath played at my funeral.

It is. Amazingu, would you go with the orchestrated arranged version or the piano one?
Ah, but if it's a funeral we're talking about, it can only be Metal Gear Solid 3's "Debriefing" for mine -- especially that hymn-like first appearance of the MGS Main Theme at one minute into the piece. Damn, I'm sheddin' a tear for me already.....

Man, you must be weird like me, thinking about that kind of stuff. But a VGM song I want at my funeral is "Dancing Schala" (a sweet arrange version of Schala's Theme with bagpipes). Also the obligatory "Space Lion" from Cowboy Bebop.
So you made SeeD, did you? Congrats! ^_^
Y'know what's funny? I first read this as
'So you found AIRSEE
D, did you?'

Is that the Cactrot song??

JEFF WOULD BE CRYING IN HEAVEN.
ar my jr high school graduation,, they played the music from the end of 'Police Academy'

Definitely the Orchestrated one. FF8PC is one of my favorite Piano albums out there, but the orchestrated version of the Oath blows the piano version out of the water.

Not that I dispute my general weirdness, but what's so weird about thinking about the music you want for your funeral? I'm very sober when it comes to thinking about death, and I come from a family with a similar inclination, so my dad made a folder on his computer in which all of us have put Mp3s/titles of the music we want played at our funerals.
It could happen anytime, so why not be prepared?
I decided on the Oath a LONG while ago since it suits the mood perfectly IMO.
There's still this crazy stigma floatin' around that anyone who listens to newfangled japanese cds that only have a game's music on it without being able to trow it in yer ps2 and play another round'a GTA3 must be one'a them heretic types..
Makes sense to me, a-giggle!
