I have a folder on my computer of about 150 random great vgm songs, and these are prime examples of why the MP3-format rocks so hard. So here: list your favorite tracks of albums you don't care for.

‘In the Wind’ – Gradius III/Kukeiha Club (favorite of the entire list, can't get enough Furukawa's work here)
‘Level 2’ - Batman Returns Sega CD Redbook (seek it out people)
‘Watery Wave Castle’ - Ganbare Goemon 4 (Irreristable beat, not sure whether it uses an old sample, but it's funky as hell)
‘The Light Of Hope’ – Elder Gate (Such a powerfull chorus, End of the World is good too, but this tops it)
‘Turks 101’ – Dirge of Cerberus Unreleased tracks (sort of a U:S unreleased megatrack, goooo Hama!)
‘Arise within You’ - Parasite Eve Remixes (reminds me of Underworld a bit, love this flavour of dance)

These happen to be some of my absolute favorite vgm tunes.

I think very highly of the SO2 album myself (big Sakuraba fan though, which might be of importance here; the guy is love or hate for many people), but as they say, different strokes for different folks.

I guess We Form In Crystals is so famous that it doesn't even need mentioning

I was just about to say that. Sacred Song and We Form In Crystals are like, what define the SO2 soundscape.

I have one, and only one song to add to this list:

"Wanna Wanna" - "The Legaia OST" (Legend of Legaia)
