how do they pronounce the name of the band L'arc En-Ciel in japan?

i mean,, its french, but hell, even here in chicago we hate french words,, so i can imagine how much trouble they would have in japan with the french pronunciation.

ive always just prounounced it as "lark" "N" "seal".. im guessing the french version would be closer to "laur en say"...  someone help me out here. I got the Siam Shade V9 perfect clips DVD the other week and there are some tv commercials for their singles at the end, and it made me chuckle when i first heard the announcer call them "shi-am shayde"

l'arc  (like a lark, but the "a" is pronounced like amnesia)

en (like the "u" sound in Humphrey)

ciel (like Ciello in Digital Devil Saga, but without the "o" obviously)
