see, I clicked that link HOPING that this wasn't being hyped for the purpose of mockery or sarcasm. I actually wanted to see some good CGI.

Sorry, Ramza... I fell for it when I found it (that is the OP's title for it) and felt that everyone else deserves it.
See some good CGI? Good CGI is becoming so common nowadays... although this UK commercial one is being sold as the "best commercial ever", I think it's creepy: http://www.digg.com/tech_news/Best_Commercial_Ever

That definitely was a good commercial (I'm referring to the Singin' in the Rain one)! In general, I'm not a fan of CGI. To me CGI still looks fake, even though it has made many leaps in the past few years. Nevertheless, I still prefer movies that take the path of Pan's Labyrinth -use as little CGI as possible!
