The PS3 had a system update today (I'm about to set-up a wired connection because the wireless isn't working fast for me) and it will soon let one download the PS1 games online and play them on the PS3 itself.  Not sure why this feature wasn't there at the start, but here's hoping SCEA will add Intelligent Qube quickly.  I'd love to have a reason to turn on my PS3 other than to do system updates and play God of War 2.

As for the 360, Jet Set Radio Future was finally added to the backwards compatibility list:  http://www.majornelson.com/archive/2007 … pdate.aspx

Yeah, now I can finally sell my Xbox and have a reason to buy Senko No Ronde.  Oh wait, the things are worth $15 now. Crap.

Is ORT like the code abbreviation for an airport named after Orta or something?  wink

Anyway yeah, I'm REALLY happy about that.  Now add Otogi, and I'll have no complaints left about the backwards compatibility stuff on the 360.

See, I was so excited, I couldn't even spell smile
Yeah, I agree, Otogi would be great! That and Gunvalkyrie, and I think my list of Xbox games will be complete!

I'm also thrilled that JSRF has been added to the list.  I wonder if it really works or if it's a buggy BC.  If anyone's tried it, please post.

Also, I never understood the love for Otogi.  Sure, the graphics were great, but the game was repetitive and dull.  I got a free copy in the mail from Sega's PR firm, and it did nothing for me.

To be fair, I haven't actually played it... but I bought it for ten bucks years ago when KB Toys was doing a game clearance and I would like to be able to at least try out the copy that I own.  tongue
