Is anyone familiar with the items that come with limited edition games that fall under the Spectral Force/Souls/Blazing Souls and Generations of Chaos series? I know that a few of them have "soundtracks" attatched to those editions, but I was wondering if any of them are full soundtracks? I have one from Spectral Souls II and it only had a few music tracks on it.

Can't tell if GMR Online is missing some information, but both IF series seem to be missing a couple of soundtracks, so if anyone could tell me which games had independent CD releases, that would also be helpful.

Thank you.

I know Spectral Force Chronicle had a CD release with its limited edition.

Interestingly, that entire CD was re-released in the "Spectral Force The Best" album, and it even had a few more songs from the game.

In that vein, I think that those "The Best" albums for GoC, Spectral Force, and Spectral Souls reprint any and all songs that came with the LE soundtracks. The only thing they miss are if a game got a full album printed, such as the first Generation of Chaos, or Spectral Force II.

I've got the LE version of Spectral Force:  Radical Elements, and the soundtrack that comes with it is pretty short.  I haven't listened to it in a while, but I think it was either 6 or 9 tracks, and around twenty minutes of music.

[Edit - fixed typo]

Crash, what year was Radical Elements printed, and how is the audio on the bonus disc?

Well, I dug it out, and here are the details:

14 tracks (I was way off).  The official title of the disc appears to be Spectral Force: Radical Elements Alterdead Nocturne.  Music by Kenji Kaneko, copyright 2004.

Track Listing (all tracks have English names on the disc; no translations)
1. Oros (1:32)
2. Median (1:53)
3. Eremia (1:45)
4. Crash in the middle (1:42)
5. It's funny (1:38)
6. Leimon (2:01)
7. Makthe (1:51)
8. Oasis (2:05)
9. Eyes of a stranger (1:58)
10. Dawn (1:30)
11. My own enemy (1:44)
12. Symphonic stage (1:37)
13. The Priest (2:04)
14. The sallow song (2:18)
Total time 25:38

As for the audio, it's nothing memorable.  It reminds me a little of Atelier Iris, but it's not nearly as well balanced.  All the songs kind of sound the same.  The bass/drum lines that are used overpower the melody.

Yeah, Kaneko's not the hottest composer known to man.

Thanks for the info Crash! If you'd like to submit that info to GMR, or do a review for RPGFan, whatever, that'd be hot.

Good info.
