Blizzard sure does know the most effective way to keep me giving them money that's for sure.

I was hoping for Diablo 3... whatever happened to that second expansion pack?
Nice!!
Blizzard is definitely the king of real-time strategy games Expect a super high-quality game here!

what, there was second expansion pack coming for Diablo II?
I was also hoping for DIII, but probably now it's a good time to buy the first StarCraft and play it
I saw a teaser for it somewhere years ago (probably around the time of Warcraft 3's release), but for the life of me I can't tell you where. A Google search brought up nothing, so I don't know.

I honestly can't think of a single Blizzard game that has been less than exceptional.
As for Diablo 3, that'd be nice, wouldn't it? Considering I put in a tasteless number of hours into the first one, and pretty much dedicated my life to the second one . . .
Wow...finally! So, is this game in addition to the StarCraft MMORPG that I heard about on G4's Attack of the Show or is it actually the only SC project in the works right now? I'll pray for a console (XBOX360) release but if it does happen they'll probably take a lot longer to port it than EA did with C&C3.

The announcement of a new game came a couple days before they announced it, the 3 main games that people figured Blizzard would announce would be either Diablo 3, Starcraft 2 or a Starcraft MMO. It turned out to be Starcraft 2. Only one new game =p.

That's what I thought but the way they were talking on AotS it sounded like the development of an SC MMORPG was set in stone! It probably would've been a more profitable move for Blizzard but it's strange that they jumped the gun like that.
Worst-kept secret in the business, this. Making an announcement in Korea? The country that televises Starcraft matches and where boys traditionally receive a copy of Starcraft for their 12th birthday? Who ever thought it would be anything else?

I've heard about the Koreans and their obsession with Starcraft! Just curious, does anyone have info on it and why it's such an obsession? Also, I assume that's a joke, "Starcraft for their 12th birthday"... but I think televised Starcraft matches is true.

I was in Korea last summer, and I still see them playing Starcraft in PC rooms. I never asked why it's still a fad though. As for Starcraft 2, I'm stoked about this one!
