Been curious to see how they translated Taiko no Tatsujin (aka Taiko Drum Master) to the DS with Taiko no Tatsujin: Touch de Dokodon!  By virtue of being a music-rhythm nut, I'm definitely checking it out; it likely won't be no Ouendan, but more Kibun Jojo?  Yes, please!

I've been burned out after Guitar Hero II, but I'll be picking up Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks The 80s anyway, by virtue of being an 80s child.  Go-Go's "We Got Beat"?  The Police's "Synchronicity II"?  "Radar Love"?  "Nothin' But A Good Time?"  "Wrathchild"?  Yes, please.

Book releases..... Right, there's that low-key title called The Deathly Hallows.

CD releases include The Order of The Phoenix and The Simpsons: Movie.  I have high hopes for Hooper's new Potter score, and all I know is that I want this edition of The Simpsons soundtrack:

Mmm.... donut-shaped CD....

I think I'm actually free from purchases this month.

Unless, of course, an Odin Sphere soundtrack is released on short notice. Gods, I want one so badly.

I hope to go to a midnight for this just for the thrill of seeing how crazy it is.  Should be fun.

I honestly don't know. You know what's funny? I was standing in Best Buy the other day, returning a printer. I'm not sure why I bought the printer, but for some reason I thought I would use it. Anyway, I was scanning the contents of the store with my eyes and thought: This place does not need to exist. It's all a bunch of crap. Just look at these dumb bastards working here.

Ah, good times. So, it was sort of a revelation for me. I just don't give a damn if I buy anything this month.

You know why? Soil has bacteria that makes the mind feel better. Since people that play with electronic things, the types that come from places like Best Buy, spend their time indoors, they are lacking this vital bacterium, known as Mycobacterium vaccae. While lacking M. vaccae, depression is more likely and can be thwarted by constantly resetting happiness by deluging oneself with material objects, which Best Buy is more than happy to supply. It's all some sort of damn drug use. There's no way around it. People are not naturally happy.

I wasn't supposed to type any of that, but it came to mind...

Just Libertad. The first Velvet Revolver CD had some good songs, but hopefully something with Slash involved will sound a bit more...inspired.

VGM release list still looks like shit and no games or DVD's come to mind.

I'm not sure how, but I'm going to try like Hell to get Deathly Hallows here in Japan somewhere before my birthday (which is the same as Harry's by the way).

In terms of digital entertainment, maybe Rockman ZX Advent, but not much else.

I'm fairly certain it has all the relevant *vocal* tracks from each Tales game. It might miss one or two because of copyright/licensing issues, but I think it's going to have everything from Phantasia's original "The Dream Will Not Die" all the way up to the present with Tempest and Radiant Mythology.

I've thought about getting it, at least for the LE DVD version, which I'm pretty sure will have music videos. But then again, I'm trying not to spend money.

Definitely an interesting choice though. And WAY better than buying up all the singles.

I'd like to pick up a copy of the Einhänder OST since it's being reprinted

They did remade it for PS2. Nothing else, sadly the music seems to be totally new.

Hm, haven't seen Persona 3 mentioned yet... I'm surprised.

That, and Trusty Bell OST top my "must have" list for this month.

Also, according to this receipt I have in my wallet, I've reserved and paid for Riviera and Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology for PSP.  We'll see how those go.

I never played the goddamn original game, despite owning it AND the OST (thanks again, Conn!). Damn PS2 doesn't have a mod chip. And I don't know Japanese. sad

Crash Jul 2, 2007

My list:

Yuzo Koshiro Best Collection Vol. 2
beatmania IIDX 14 GOLD OST
dj TAKA First Album - milestone

I should also be getting a couple albums from June today (Yuzo Koshiro Best Collection Vol. 1 and Ys Origin Super Arrange).

I'll wait to hear some comments about Trusty Bell before I make the 4-CD commitment.
