Three times now, I've attempted to buy goods from CDJapan/Neo Wing. I'm an international/U.S. customer and I've ordered from CDJ many times in the past. Yet, three times over two credit cards I've been declined. I checked with my local bank and they claim CDJapan might not deal with my bank's VISA check card... OK. I use another card, a (real) VISA credit card not associated with the bank - declines that one too. CDJapan deals with VISA so I find this to be perplexing...

My credit cards are straight - this is frustrating. Common problem?

I had the same problem a month or two back--to great surprise, since my checking account was in order and I'd made many CDJapan purchases in the past. My bank claimed that they had changed their policy and would no longer allow purchases from Japan or Mexico to prevent fraud. Senseless. But, using the same card via Paypal posed no problems.

I noticed they also accepted PayPal but figured the same problems would arise. I typically only use it as a possible last resort. Thanks for the heads-up, Boot.
