Good news, imo, that these games live on.  I'll be getting them both, assuming they haven't messed them up somehow.

I think the idea of Ikaruga in 16:9 is kind of hilarious.  You could probably play two normal-TV-ratio games on either side of the playable area. 

If you're really hardcore and have one of those LCDs that rotates, I guess you could put the game on side view mode and have the full experience.

Oh, and just for fun: Rez is the best shooter ever.  Ever.  Don't know if I'd want to buy it again just for HD, but amazing game all the same.

Already got Ikaruga for the 'cube, but this is a great announcement for anyone who owns a 360.  I know if I had one, I'd snatch up Rez as fast as I could.

Just when I thought I had no use for an HDTV... *grumble*

Good news, since both games are SUPER (and xb360 owners probably haven't played either one.)
