After realizing that Nitin Sawhney is doing the soundtrack for Heavenly Sword, I know I'm gonna need to hear/buy it.  Anyone heard about a soundtrack release for this game?

Yeah, after reading the interview at M4G, I want to know if the music is any good.  Has anyone played it and do they have any opinions? 

Though I'm not that far into it, it seems to be just using some typical ethnic flute meanderings, some percussion, and then, disappointingly, standard way overused synth-perc loops from the Distorted Reality sample library. Could get better though.

Chris, I was afraid of that!  I was pulling for Metroid Prime 3 being the soundtrack of the month.

Does that mean the soundtrack is not  powerful, epic, culturally diverse, emotive, cinematic, orchestral, innovative and fresh?

It's too early to make any real judgements about it. I am still early on. Though there have been some disappointing aspects of it so far, I plan to play more tonight and will post further thoughts.
