Man, I wrote up a huge wall of text that I guess got eaten before I was able to submit it.

Anyway, that's what I do personally, if I'm the seller.  After I send the item, if I haven't gotten feedback, I send the buyer an email asking if they got it okay, usually under the guise of "I'm going through my records, and I want to close this one out as a successful transaction."

I don't even care about feedback at that point; I just want to make sure they're happy, so I can leave feedback for them.

Basically, as a seller, I don't leave feedback until the buyer confirms that they're happy.

That's the way it should be, I think.

There is no doubt that some customers can be complete douches, and there is no shortage of scam artists in the eBay world, but when it comes to niche items like even video game soundtracks, there's a lot less crap.  Scammers tend to concern themselves with things like XBoxes, laptops, and IPods, and... not as much with vintage video games or memorabilia. wink
