I saw an ad for this thing in the latest issue of Game Informer and I have to say...It sounds like a wonderful idea that may just be a little bit ahead of its' time. I think I'd definitely like to try it out before dropping $500 on it to see if its' my thing, but I think it would be a neat new way to see things...No outside distractions, big screen, stereo speakers, really versatile (hooks into consoles, PC's, iPods and comes with its' own media viewer via Memory Sticks).

Kinda gimmicky, but it might just be an ideal alternative to having a 52 inch TV screen. 3-4 times cheaper, portable, comes with its' own media player, more versatile,...and can be used lying back. I think in 2-3 years, this will be a lot more standard than it is now.

Any thoughts? First time in awhile I've been impressed by a new gadget (probably since...heh, the iPod). Glad I found it a few months before Christmas, in any case...Too bad there's no place for me to plug in my SNES.

Wouldn't this like, kill your eyes?  I mean having a screen that close doesn't seem good.

It reminds me of the Virtual Boy too!  But I guess thats a positive for me and me alone.  Pass.

That looks awesome if you had $500 to blow.  I do believe you'd get a headache after awhile, though.

arcade joysticks,

Heh, don't put those in there...I've already got 2 (Agetec and a Soul Calibur 2 one for the PS2) that see regular use and could potentially buy a third if the need arises.
