Well, we've reached Thanksgiving. You know what that means. It's time to set up for our Holiday Gift Exchange!!!!! WEEEEE!!!
(thanks to Zane for the reminder. And Zane, sorry for "coming down on you" in that Abraham/Isaac post. I think you're awesome for even considering its relevance.)
So here's how it works...
Over the next 12 days, it's registration time. To register, all you need to do is:
1) reply in this thread
2) Say "I'm in."
3) List the email address you regularly use...
3b) IF you use the email address that you've listed for the site, just say "use site mail."
Registration will close midnight (EST) from Nov. 30 into Dec. 1. At that point, I will randomize the list's order and we'll start up the exchange.
Some newcomers may be wondering: "what IS this gift exchange?"
It's pretty simple. One person gets you a gift, you get another person a gift, and on it goes. In a big chain.
There is a "minimum" to the gift. Unless specifically requested from your "recipient," the album should be a *full length* album. No singles or EP-length albums to save on cost! As for a maximum ... I would personally recommend spending no more than $40, but you can feel free to be as generous as you want.
When your "giver" contacts you to find out what you want, you can be as specific or as broad as you want. Maybe you'll say "I want the Ar tonelico II OST, and NOTHING else." Or you might say, "I want any VGM album released in 2007." The only limit here is that it's *supposed* to be VGM.
