I'm working on some changes to STC and one of them is to have the author links on review pages go their respective profile pages here on the forums, instead of to the old outdated profiles they currently link to.

So, if any of you forum members who have reviewed at STC before could confirm to me what name you previously reviewed by, I would appreciate it.  I'll then change the reviews' author link to your current forum user name and have it link to your forum profile.

Feel free to post the info in this thread or mail it to me using the mail link at my profile.  Jon Turner, Angela, Jockolantern, GoldfishX, and Necrosaro, you guys are squared away already. Thanks! smile

I reviewed the Alundra OST. I think I posted it under my real name, Patrick Gann.

So yeah. Word.

This one is mine...http://www.altpop.com/stc/fans/jkaufman.mv

And wow, is that email out of date. It's been what, almost eight years since I used it?

Has your opinion on any of these CD's, assuming you've listened to them recently, changed with time at all?

Adam,
This is my profile page.

The information in it, such as the email, is out of date.  Are we going to be able to edit this once you link the profile information?

Besides the SFEX2 soundtrack (I sold it a long time ago), I still listen to those discs.   The feelings and opinions I had for those soundtracks when I reviewed them are, for the most part, still there today.  War-Zard is still difficult for me to listen to, 19XX is still one of my more 'odd' soundtracks, and Breath of Fire III and Kukeiha Club will likely remain on my 'all-time favorites' list for the rest of my life.

Looking back at those reviews, though, I know I could have written them better, especially with the poor word choices I made in a few cases.  And there was that embarassing part of the Dracula MIDI Collection review, where I titled the second piano track titled "Beginning."  It was actually Kid Dracula's theme, but I knew nothing about that game or its music at the time, and it sounded very close to "Beginning", and, well...  neutral

Oh, and I wrote another review, http://www.altpop.com/stc/reviews/vampsav.htm . But I'm not sure it counts as mine because my review isn't at the top.

The new review pages will link to the profile pages here on the forums, which you can already edit by clicking the Profile link above.

BTW look for some small changes to those profile pages real soon.

Yes, I have seen the profile page and have edited it.  I just want to make sure that whatever entries are appearing on the new review pages are editable.  For example, the page here http://altpop.com/stc/fans/stang.mv has an old email address that is not linked to the profile page.  I presume you will be consolidating fields so the review page pulls the email from the profile page.

I am going to ditch the old profile pages altogether.  Once I re-publish the review pages, the author links will go directly to the forum profiles.
