Hi all, just got back from the South Pole

i was wondering, can you play PSP games on a PlayStation 3.0, and if so, do you need a $pecial converter add-on type-thing to play it or can you just pop it in?
(my ps3 got stolen so i can't test this for myself)

PSP games on PS3?  Don't think so, unless there's some way to play ISO rips off a USB.  You can, however, play any UMD discs on your TV with the new PSPSlim and $eparately-$old A/V cable.

It's not.  I'd love a Virtua Cop 1-3 compilation, though.  Ghost Squad was fun.

What about the Silent Hill Arcade Game? Is that getting ported to any console!?

Reminds me of that rare-seen arcade ver. of Sonic The Hedgehog back in the day.

Just to confirm, make sure when you buy that cable that you HAVE some sort of HD display. That's component cables, not composite. And they didn't make ANY sort of display-capabilities to put PSP on composite.

I own a PS3 and my brother owns a PSP ... and neither of us have HDTVs. And it's awful. Gotta fix that quick.

Do you know if a UMD disc can hold more than a GameCube disc??

Barely more according to wikipedia. A GC disc can store 1.5GB, an UMD does 900MB single layer and 1.8GB dual layer, no idea which one is more common.
