That's nuts. We were just talking about pistols at dinner tonight and I said the only kind I really wanted was a WWII era Walther.

I've always liked the P99, more so than the puny PP7. Always thought Bond's former sidearm of choice was always a tad fem while this one is maybe a little too bulky. I've had both 1:1 scale "toys," but still like the P99 with silencer better. It's mean, yes.

If you're talking about the P38 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walther_P38), I applaud your taste.  I've always liked the old Walther PPK too, but the P38 is definitely cooler.  Actually, the postwar version is even better in my opinion since it's a bit lighter and has the awesome black grips.  Somehow these new models fail to capture my imagination...
