Well, I'd have to be blind not to see all their numerous ads on TV, but does anyone here actually use Gametap? I'm not particularly interested in it, but what is your opinion of it? With all the talk about the Virtual Console I have to question if people are buying into this as much as they would before the Wii came out.

Also, the thing that really gets my goat about gametap is their whole "artist of the month" deal. So, I know who Rob Zombie is but never heard of any of these other artists. Still, isn't the whole idea of pandering out to bands in the "now" just a way to whore oneself out? To put it better, wouldn't it be more appropriate if the artist of the month was say, um a VGM composer?

Gametap sucks.
