You are what you eat!
So, what are you? In other words, do you have any favorite foods? Myself, I'm eclectic. I tend to keep it healthy, but healthy food can be very yummy! Tonight I cooked turkey schnitzel in olive oil... SO good smile Other favorites, include sushi, Indian (just about anything), homemade chicken soup, and I do like a good burger (Kobe organic beef is awesome )... I also LOVE a good salad (most any kind), and definitely believe in fruits as the ultimate desert. Snack-wise, peanut butter, nuts, and fruits are great! Feel free to list specifics and good recipes. Hope you're eating well!

cheers,

I couldn't gain weight even if I tried thanks to my metabolism, so I tend to eat whatever I want.  This afternoon I had the most delicious okonomiyaki of my life on my lunch hour, and tonight I'll probably make curry (which is also my favorite food - I'm a master curry chef).  I'd say my diet usually consists of curry, rice, sushi, onigiri, fruits (bananas and pineapple being my favorite), yakisoba, PB&J, pasta, and cereal these days.  I really miss American pizza!

ditto on "Indian (just about anything)." Can they do no wrong?!

Well, don't ask my intestines that. But the rest of me is happy!

Breakfast

If I eat Total cereal, then I add apple flavored lecithin granules. If I eat honey nut oatmeal, then I add millled flaxseed and apple flavored lecithin granules. I usually drink grape juice, but I'll drink blueberry or pomegranate juice if it's on sale.

Before gym

This is my follow up meal, usually an hour after breakfast. It generally consists of 4 hard boiled eggs with raisins and some type of vegetable, usually raw carrots or broccoli.

After gym

Whatever I can get at work. I also bring a Pro42 bar for extra protein.

Dinner

I honestly don't give a damn what I eat for dinner, as long as it's not fried.

If I don't have to go to the gym, then I can eat whatever I want after breakfast. I never skip breakfast, as it's the most important meal in the day.

I also take Vitamin D and Ultimate Eye Formula. Vitamin D has helped me more than you can imagine. My mood has improved considerably, along with my knees. They started hurting after heavy squats or deadlifts; that never used to happen. I had assumed this was due to my age. Vitamin D has completely eliminated the joint pain. It's like magic. The winter blues are caused by lack of Vitamin D; supplements readily solve that problem. Vitamin D makes your bones stronger because it helps in the absorption of calcium. If you get it from sunlight (the UV part of sunlight), then it is processed in the skin. If you get it from food, then it first has to be processed in the liver and then the kidneys.

My vitreous humor is breaking up and my retinas are thinning. This is because I am nearsighted. The floaters in my left eye (from the breakup of the vitreous humor) have lessened after taking the Eye formula, which has lutein.

The reason why I take lecithin granules is because they are good for your nervous system, they improve memory, and they are good for your lungs.
I take milled flaxseed because it has omega-3 (plant version) and antioxidants. It's like eating vast amounts of broccoli.

What kind of American pizza, like Chicago style or something?  Pizza Hut's pizza here in Japan is pretty spot on with back home if you avoid the funky combinations like potato and mayo, tuna and crab, and all that crazy stuff.  Also the more Italian style pizzas here can be pretty awesome and are healthier to boot.

As for my own answers I've always loved pizza and Mexican, and since coming to Japan I've come to love sushi and Indian curry (go figure).  Veggie-wise anything with spinach, sweet potato, or avocado is almost always tasty.

Beer and chips (like, you know, French Fries or Freedom Fries to you Americans). All I need. Beer. And chips.

Yeah, Pizza Hut's "Meat Paradise" pizza comes close, but there were some fantastic pizza places in my hometown that far outdid Pizza Hut.  I'll never understand Japan's love for corn and mayo as toppings for just about everything.  Bleh.

Hrmm. I absolutely love Vietnamese food, and Indian food is totally tops. I really wanna try Greek sometime, and Thai, but those will both have to wait for a while. I really have to be in the right mood for Japanese, and I really don't like Chinese food that much.

Lots of fruits and vegetables. I loved baked goods, be they breads, pastries, cakes, and what have you. I drink more milk than should be healthy for an average healthy human being, and have recently started upping my water intake. I have also started to supplement my diet with omega-3 capsules for an added boost.

Guilty pleasures? Instant ramen, and on occasion, Chef Boyardee. *laughs*

"ditto on "Indian (just about anything)." Can they do no wrong?!"

Man, I hate Indian food!  I guess thats a natural reaction since I've grown up eating just it, or maybe its just me.  Punjabi/North Indian food anyway... South Indian food is nice, but I haven't tried enough to form an opinion.  I know certain Indian dishes are now popular in Japan, I'm curious to see how 'authentic' they are [EDIT: or] if its like Chinese food in N.America!

That said, I'll eat anything.  Not very interesting I'll admit!
