What?
.
Props to Cloud's Villa indeed. Wasn't that run by a guy who called himself Cloud V or am I thinking of someone else? Carl, weren't you involved with it too? I might have my sites mixed up, heh. Anybody have a local copy of the site saved somewhere? It'd be awesome to see that again, haha. Ah, nostalgia..
Booooooooo hisssssssss....

Correct on both counts!

Yes, Cloud V started that site. Last I heard, he moved from Oklahoma in the U.S. to work in Japan. He mentioned on several occasions in the StC forums that moving to Japan was a dream of his.
A few us here at StC had contributed to Cloud's Villa at one point or another. I did a little coding for it toward the site's latter years. Once the site was truly gone, the Slightly Dark (slightlydark.com) website followed the tradition of Cloud's Villa by offering rare game music samples.
You're welcome.
My encodes for the site were 160 cbr, and most even lacked tracklists, as I hadn't even discovered JGML at the time....
But damn if it wasn't an awesome time of discovery and sharing the wealth (and cassettes!) that were like buried treasures.
Happy 10th Anniversary of spreading vgm love for me.
