Just wondering who's played it, and is it really as great as the hype?
I haven't played 1 nor 2, but it sounds fun. So, what can you tell me about it

its not as great as the hype. ive finished the first one and started the second one recently.

talking about the first: its got one of the worst hard modes in history. it seems they just gave your enemies a buttload of hp to piss you off. its very boring to fight dragging shallow fights every few seconds, believe me. i wouldnt recommend anything above normal mode, even if you like the game. its very sad.

also the music is your standard epic orchestra, wich gets drowned somewhere between the sound effects. everything as expected. i wish they would have hired a better voice-cast too. yea, so much bitching

its allright if you want to spend a few hours staring at good looking PS2 graphics and mash some skulls, but thats about it.

Thanks, that's kinda what I figured. One game that definitely looks appealing is Heavenly Sword. I've heard it compared to GoW in some respects, but the music is phenomenal! I'm guessing the story to HS is standard, so it really depends on how the characters play out. A short game (some have complained about it), but short games can be great... of course you need a PS3 for that one
