Can't say much about the game or series, but the book is great! I've always been a fan of Steinbeck, truly one of the great American authors smile

I've always wondered why a lot of total crap can get localized these days, but Tengai Makyou can't.  Apparently we almost got Namida and I remember the 360 Ziria remake actually being announced at E3 a couple years back, but we've still seen jack squat.  I love the music and the concept, but I've never gotten that far into them.  I played maybe six hours of Namida, but eventually got tired of having to use a kanji dictionary to get through every text box (let alone the menus, which as far as I can tell simply MADE UP WORDS).  I should get back to that sometime... the game was really fun.

I actually own a couple versions of the second game... was there ever a fan translation for it (not that it matters... I could never ever get the Ys IV one to work properly)?  If not, I might stick in the Gamecube version and try it out again.

I'll through a shoutout to Manjimaru, simply because it's Joe Hisaishi.  Other than that I know nothing of the games. smile
