I've gotten really excited for Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures.  That one video where Belloq is demanding the idol, and Indy pulls out a variety of 'treasures' - including C3P0's head - completely sold me.  ;)  Still trying to decide between the PS3 or Wii version, though; have any differences been cited yet?

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is a definite maybe.  I still haven't made the jump to Rock Band yet, but I did enjoy GH3 to the extent that I'd be willing to give the Toxic Twins a shot. And then there's Guitar Hero: On Tour.  Don't get me wrong; despite being a defender of the project, I'd still like to hear feedback on the final product before deciding to spring.

No home movie releases, and not much in the way of CDs.  I'm not an ardent fan of Thomas Newman, so my purchase of the Wall*E Soundtrack will be largely dependent on how well I like the film.

Other than that, my passion (and money) is naturally going toward Metal Gear Solid 4 this month:

Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots Limited Edition
Metal Gear Solid 4 Bluetooth Headset
Metal Gear Solid 4: Limited Edition Collector's Strategy Guide

Adoru May 31, 2008

Let's see...

PS2 - Chaos Wars, unless it gets pushed back again
PS3 - Metal Gear Solid 4, well duh
360 - Ninja Gaiden 2, even though I stil havent finished Sigma
360 - Operation Darkness, maybe... I hope they fixed the horrible camera from the demo
DS - Summon Night Twin Age, unless the reviews give it a bad score, this almost looks like the next Secret of Mana
DS - Etrian Odyssey II, one word: FOE!
DS - Final Fantasy Tactics A2, yay more Final Fantasy ^___^ *semi-sarcastic*

Kinda an expensive month

Ragelope!
I trust EOII will be as awesome as the first! Have you finished the first by the way? I haven't had time to play, what with an obscene amount of graduate classes to take, but am looking forward to finishing the game this summer.

cheers,

You shouldn't laugh at this, but damn...

Not too much this month for me...

Music:

Death Smiles Original Soundtrack (Sure, it came out at the end of May, but I'm actually getting it in June)
Luminous Arc 2: Will Original Soundtrack
Final Fantasy XI Piano Collections
Revo x Yuki Kajiura Dreamport 2008

Games:

Metal Gear Solid 4

EDIT: OMG. I'm twisted. I thought that was hilarious (only because of the music though!)

Zorbfish May 31, 2008

Nothing on the soundtrack front, but I'm thinking about getting Etrian Odyssey II (I missed out on the first one). Scar Symmetry's Holographic Universe is supposed to be out on the 24th so if it doesn't get pushed back that's on my list.

Amazingu May 31, 2008

Still didn't get a PS3, so if it's EVER gonna happen it'll be this month I guess...
I'll probably be getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma to prepare for NG2, and then of course MGS4 and probably GT5 Prologue and Ratchett & Clank just to have a decent collection to start with wink

charmed699 May 31, 2008

What I have in mind of getting if I actualy have enough money is:

Ninja Gaiden 2
Alone in the Dark 360 version and special edition while at it wink

I might get:

Super Smash bros brawl
Okami
Bleach 3rd phantom

I really want to not spend much money at all if I can help it... smile

Just this.

Although, who knows what Wiiware, Virtual Console, XBLA, or PSN releases there will be.  With Earthbound having an ESRB rating and the Japanese getting Super Mario RPG, here's hoping for those two!

Adoru Jun 2, 2008

On the PSN and XBL front, I just remembered Bionic Commando Rearmed is scheduled for the end of this month, so of course I'm getting it as well. Only $10 too.

Yes, YES!  I don't think I could be any more excited for this album than I already am.  Hopefully it lives up to expectations.

Other than that,

Final Fantasy Tactics A2 is tempting, especially after hearing the soundtrack...  and I don't really have any other plans besides that one.  My spending habits have kind of been "see what you can find for cheap, and then pick that up."  Just found ICO at a pawn shop for six bucks.

Score! Great find, man. I hope you enjoy it - I'm still captivated by it this many years after its release.

Thanks man, I actually already own ICO - this one's going up on ebay.

Pretty sure that's been delayed until at least August, but correct me if I'm wrong.

sad Why for?

Scalping.

^^^  To fund my video game habit.

...and it's not like I'm charging any outrageous price or anything like that ($24.99 - and it sold in two days.  Minus paypal and ebay costs, I'm down to at least twenty bucks, so it's not like I'm making a fortune here.)  I figure, if I found a somewhat rare game at a pawn shop at a bad side of town that would never be utilized by gamers, then I'm bringing the rare games to those who actually want to play them.

Zorbfish Jun 5, 2008

Forgot Opeth's Watershed was released on Tuesday.

Cult of Luna's Eternal Kingdom comes out next week for UK/Europe. Definitely going to have to import this rather than wait till late July to get it here; price be damned.
