I'm looking for a rip of the music in quality higher than 128 kbps mp3. Preferably a zip or rar file. I just recently snagged the Siren albums and they reminded me of Soul Reaver.

Sorry, dude. I've never seen a gamerip in higher quality than that. The usual rip floating around is the 32-track rip that's everywhere around the net. I guess the only other thing would be the officially released (but by now exceedingly rare) Soul Reaver 1 & 2 promo soundtrack, which has 3 tracks from Soul Reaver 1.

Soul Reaver has awesome music. Paradoxically, its one of those soundtracks when a low-bitrate rip actually isn't that bad. The music is, how shall I put this, pretty "murky" to begin with, so I've found that the 128 kb/s mp3 rip works just fine.

Hmm... I can kind of see the resemblance, but Soul Reaver has a lot more percussion and heavy drums. Its also a little bit more melodic.

You can always get the Defiance rip. Higher quality and most of the tracks are from SR1 or SR2 anyway, with some added touches. SR1 soundtrack is still better though, especially the darker pieces you hear in Rahab's domain.

Btw, does someone have the Credits track from Soul Reaver 1? Every single rip I've downloaded is missing that track hmm.

I found a lot of Soul Reaver music, a few years ago, from various sources. I have a total of 42 tracks from Soul Reaver 1 and some are repeats or variations. Two of the tracks are labeled as 'credits' and one is not, because I remember hearing it elsewhere in the game. However, the other might be the credit track. I only heard the ending theme once because I beat the game one time, five days after it was initially released. I really don't remember it, so I'm not sure.

Top Dollar did a complete rip of this game's music, which makes a total of 116 tracks. It was well recorded and edited and encoded in VBR, so the quality is top-notch. I'll upload it to a web host and then post the link here for you to grab it.

Wow. I had no idea there were 100+ different songs. That game was like a drug and I didn't do anything for 5 days, until it was complete. Thanks!
