I've logged about two hours into Konami's new point and click adventure Time Hollow, and I'm enjoying the hell out of it. The game so far plays out like your typical P&CA, where you go to various locations, speak to characters, and explore environments for clues. But there's a nice bit of detective flair, too, where you're constantly trying to piece together the fragmented pieces of Ethan Kairos' past. In this way, the storytelling is brisk and extremely compelling. The central mystery of Ethan's parents disappearing grabs you from the start, and it's one I'm just dying to figure out.
The art design is also superb, as are the few fully-voiced cutscenes sprinkled throughout. And Sox the cat, despite being an utter rip-off of Bill Clinton's Socks, is utterly adorable.
