I have to agree here. Convoluted and Complicated are two different things. Something that is comnvoluted, by colloquial defenition, is something that is NEEDLESSLY complex, more so than it should be.

But then, I think there's also a difference between complicated and complex.  And convoluted.  Okay, I just started laughing to myself out loud about how I'd go about explaining that to some of my English conversation students... >_<
