While the first 2 LEGEND Boxsets featured all coin-op Arcade titles, the Consumer Box features home-based Console titles.

It comes in a new White box with Gold lettering, which happens to look a lot cooler than the Black box with Silver lettering used for the arcade boxes.

Song impressions update: Definitially their best boxset yet!

I've only listened to the first 3 discs so far, and already it massively trumps both arcade sets in classic vgm enjoyment.. 

On the others you'd have to pick out the good tracks here and there on each disc, but these discs are very listenable all the way straight through, with lots of great old school energy!

Contra: Hard Corps, eh?  About time that one got an OST.  Too bad the box is so expensive.  :-(

Yeah, that's been missing-in-action for a long time.  Looks pretty complete too, with 24 tracks for it  (the last one being a Castlevania Theme of Simon Remix even!)

Sweet.

It's not the Theme of Simon, it's Vampire Killer with the pedal-note melody from Bloody Tears tacked on. It plays during a sort of secret battle with a boss character that parodies Simon Belmont and some Japanese musician who was apparently also named Simon.
