Finally got this soundtrack; I was optimistic at first, skeptical after hearing some samples, then optimistic again after hearing more samples, and now that I got it in my hot little hands, and on my MP3 player...it's AWEXOME.
I mean, which tracks off of it don't I like?!
"365 Children." Yeah. That's the reason I thought this album was going to be total crap. The "one-two-three-four" gets on my nerves, as does the chanting of children. Other than that...
"Tap de Papapaya" would've made a better opening theme. SO CATCHY!!
"Jupiter," "Rainbow Gradation," "City Night Line," and "DPU" are all chill-sexy-cool.
"Milky Way Rendezvous," "Violet Interspace," "Coconut Airport," "Dandelion Rider" are some good upbeat dance music.
"Moogelus High," "Chameleon," "Blue Hero," "From Universe," "Divers," and "Jupiter (Tap Extreme Edition)" are some really, REALLY hardcore, upbeat techno.
And "Star Seeker" is a chill-sexy-cool closing...PERFECT for a closing theme!
Only one really big problem with the album: All of the tracks are so short...they could've used longer run-times.
Otherwise, It's just absolutely perfect! I've been looking for some good techno for the longest time, and it finally appears out of nowhere!
Definitely recommended for Supersweep fans, and fans of both chill-sexy-cool and upbeat, danceable music! You'll be smitten immediately!...as soon as after you skip "365 Children." That piece is in no way indicative of anything else on the album...
