Did any of you fans in the UK catch the latest Wallace And Gromit short that aired Christmas Day?  I'm anxiously waiting for a release here in the States, but know that it's killing me that a brand new W&G adventure is out there and I've yet to see it.

This remix entertains me to no end.

Missed Wererabbit. Really need to catch up, huh?

Yeah, I saw it. Not one of the people to watch it on Christmas day since I contracted flu on that day! Instead watched it on a BBC repeat about a week later. It was a pretty entertaining half an hour and faithful to the quirky style of past Wallace and Gromit titles. I guess Americans can't use BBC's iPlayer?

Licensing issues appear to refrain us from being able to view most programs.  At any rate, I was able to acquire Loaf And Death through..... other (non-TV) channels.  So I'll have something to share once I watch it tomorrow. :)

And Idolores, do check out Were-Rabbit.  It's a cracking film.

Absolutely smashing, Angie ol' girl. I will be sure to do just that.

Just got through watching Loaf and Death, and it's pretty terrific.  I don't want to spoil anything, but I will say that the reference to "Ghost" made me laugh, and that I hope they bring Fluffles back in future installments.  Fluffles rocks. ^_^

The animation is top notch as usual, and is pretty much on par to the expert fluidity of Were-Rabbit.  Julian Nott's music score is top shelf, too.  It's definitely got a big budget sound, more comparable, again, to the recent movie than the old shorts - but it's still undeniably Nott.  In addition to the reprise of the main theme during the credit roll and other various places in the movie, I love that Nott brought the sad/regret cue back from The Wrong Trousers.  But it's one of the new action theme cues - one I dubbed "Building Security" - that impresses me the most.

It's only been twenty minutes since I saw the short, but I'm already dying to watch it again.  I'm certain there's a boatload of visual details and in-jokes that I likely missed the first time. (For instance, Feathers McGraw is still at large!)
