I guess this came out earlier this month.  Continuing the trend of odd Wii releases, this is apparently a re-release of the PS2 game that came out in 2002.  I think I will try it again, because I did have fond memories of it, but I just read that there is a 're-arranged' music from the original NES game from a '30 level bonus game' towards the end of the game.  Anyone know about this, or, more importantly, have a rip of the music?  I still hold Rygar NES chip music as some of the most memorable chip tunes from 'back in the day'.  Would love to hear if they did any justice to it.

Speaking of the Rygar NES tunes...were they ever released on an album?  I have an old CD-R of Tecmo Game Music, and while there is a track on that album that is supposed to come from Rygar, it doesn't sound anything like the Rygar that I remember from my NES days.  It could be that the music on that album was from the arcade game, and that the music was redone for the NES, but I'd really like to know if the NES music is anywhere to be found.

So...Does anyone know how to rip music from Wii games?

well, if it's wii, there's a good chance it's streaming, so you probably want to check in at the HCS64 forum, grab the vgmstream Winamp plugin and go looking for streaming formats.
