My initial impressions (some nitpicking to follow):
Packaging
-All of the tracklistings and notes in the booklet are in Japanese.
-Very little artwork in the booklet. If you played the games, then you've already seen it.
-The case opens like a book, and the discs are the pages (in trays).
Breath of Fire
-No problems with the sound quality.
-Each track gets a loop (two playthroughs).
-The good ending track is missing! But that's not a big deal because it isn't much different from the bad ending track.
-No sound effects track... all music on both discs.
Breath of Fire III
-Sound quality is MUCH better than the in-game/PSF music.
-Each track gets a loop (two playthroughs).
-The original OST release had four arranged tracks. They're not here.
-Only one of the three battle victory tracks is here... not a problem.
-The boss battle music still has the voices/sound effects on top of it (just as it was on the original OST release).
-Karaoke version of Pure Again is missing! That's not a problem for me; I never liked the original version.
I'll have more later. Post your impressions if you got 'em.
