What have you gotten from the gamedays sale. I picked up a few things today:

Diablo II Battle Chest: $20
- I had this in high school/college but it stopped working due to some disc damage. I kind of fiddled with the idea of buying it or not, the fact it selling for half price being the only reason. The game is great but it's been around forever and isn't worth the $40 Blizzard still thinks it's worth.

Dracula X Chronicles, Final Fantasy Tatics: War of the Lions (PSP) $10
- I don't have my own PSP but it's something I might get in the future. If I don't, I should be able to get most of my money back on these or give them as gifts to people who do. I do want to see what they did with the translation on SotN though.

I don't know about Gameday sales, but one time, the local video store went under, so they had a massive sale on everything. I walked away with mint copies of Final Fantasy Chronicles, Vagrant Story, Ridge Racer Type 4, and Street Fighter Alpha 3, for, like, $40. I thought it was a good deal at the time, since I was able to sell Chronicles and Street Fighter for double what I paid for each individually, and I grew to love both Vagrant Story and R4. I ended up selling R4 at some point, and would dearly love to have it back.

Grabbed myself a sealed copy of Valkyria Chronicles (shock!) and Phantasy Star Portable for the psp.  Still can't believe VC is only $30.

Between this and sales at other stores, I got a bunch. I've had, to put it mildly, a terrible couple of weeks, and the more distracted I can be, the better. Managed to secure (prices indicate ones picked up specifically at Game Days):

I figure when I'm somewhat depressed is when I should try something new, and that's why I picked up so many RPGs. I've never played much of Pokemon, any card-battle RPGs, any Persona or any so-named Roguelike (not listed since I got it awhile back), so hopefully this will be fun.

Recently got xbox 360 Street Fighter 4 collector's edition for £27 from GAME weekly sale. That's more than half of retail price for anyone confused as I would be with dollars.

Nowdays I tend to buy most games in sales anyway as it seems that prices go down really quickly.

Another copy?  I like the cut of your hardcore jib, mister.

I was tempted to get Guitar Hero: Aerosmith PS3 for $10, but I'm still without a guitar accessory for said system.  I am so far behind the curve with the Hero/Band series that it's not even funny.  So..... Rock Band instruments WON'T work with Aerosmith or the Guitar Hero titles III and below, right?  However, they WOULD work with Metallica and World Tour?

Bleh, I've gotta go find a compatibility chart or something.  Lord knows newbies like me need it.

Oh, here's an interesting story, and one sure to make some shake their heads.

I picked up the Collector's Edition Metal Gear Solid 4 from Roger's Video for $40 a few months back. Every other store has it priced at $80 or higher. What's more, the regular edition was selling for $60 at the same venue! You better believe I snapped that sucker up.

Nice grab.  Now you just gotta find a similar deal for a PS3. ;)

Ain't that Shinkawa cover so fly?

It is, truly. Not a fan of CG art, to begin with, but that rendering on the cover of the reg'lar edition is hideous in comparison to Shinkawa's sexy art.:D
