Amendment to the PayPal User Agreement

Beginning April 8, 2009 the PayPal User Agreement is being amended as follows:

1.Section 13.4 is being amended to include the following language:

“If you lose a Significantly Not as Described Claim because the item you sold is counterfeit, you will be required to provide a full refund to the buyer and you will not receive the item back (it will be destroyed).”

..so we can go ahead and buy 100's of bootleg cds at one time on ebay and then really screw the seller. or just place a massive order directly from GK world (but then they wouldnt get slapped with the ebay fees too)

That would depend on how frequently they will award those "Significantly Not as Described" claims..

If they only plan on granting say 3% of the total not-as-described claims filed, then it's not much benefit...

But yeah at least it's SOME acknowledgment that fake items get sold there very often.
Slow progress is still progress I guess.
