Decided to offshoot this from a post by Razakin in the Top 500 VGM Releases thread.

I wonder if it would be possible to this kind of think like a feature in here, like Soundtrack Central's community's Top 500 VGM releases of All-Time, taken from lists from people's profile.

So people could modify their list when time passes and new gems pops up, and old gems crack like fake ones.

This is a brilliant idea that I'd been contemplating for some time smile  Getting the poll system done was the first step but there are several tweaks and additions I need to make still.

Basically there are certain polls that I plan to have set as permanent, for which you can change your answers at any time and the results will be updated periodically.  Each member's answers will be linked from their profiles as well so that you can easily view another member's favorites.

These are the main poll categories I'm thinking of establishing:

-All-time favorite game OSTs
-All-time favorite game arranged albums
-Current favorite game soundtracks (OST & arranged)
-Favorite anime/film soundtracks
-Favorite soundtrack series

There's no way there'll be 500 or even 100 results tallied for each poll though.  It'll probably range from 10 (for series) to 30, maybe 50 (for all-time OSTs).  What do you guys think?  Would you all prefer to have OST and arranged albums combined or separate?

I think separate, since the two are often very different entities.

Those category's sounds pretty good. But, I would also like to see 'All-time favorite game soundtracks'-category to see if there's much difference in the end between good soundtrack and good arrangel album

And that range sounds pretty good.
