I figure most people here already visit the excellent VGMdb, but for those who don't, I thought I'd point out that they've started podcasts under the name "VGM decibel", hosted by Akumu and our own Carl. Haven't listened to it yet, but will, as the idea sounds very cool. Check it:

I take it Carl's the chap with the pipe in the logo, right?

Idiot I am, I left my mp3 player at work and can't get it 'til morning, but I'll certainly give it a go then.

Awesome, Carl! Keep up the good work!

Yep that's my BOSS avatar in the logo, but actually I'm a bit surprised that people get into the whole podcast thing.

I've probably only listened to 2~3 podcasts ever, and I thought they were kinda boring, so it's somewhat ironic to be co-hosting one myself.

I have learned that making a good one is going to be pretty challenging though, in terms of prep-time, editing, and quality production values.  It's not like you can just ramble and bullshit around for an hour, but I guess that's what a lot of podcasts are though.

You'd be amazed how amusing some of them can be though.
In fact, if there's one thing I'd like to see for upcoming podcasts, it's that you ramble and bullshit a bit more wink

It was very informative and insightful, but it wouldn't hurt to be a wee bit more playful, I thought.

I love listening to podcasts, but it's hard to find one with consistent quality. I was pleasantly surprised to find that right out of the gate, this podcast does everything right without falling into the common trappings. Personally I advocate not changing a thing--I thoroughly enjoyed this!

I'm without internet at home right now until the 17th, but I'll listen to it when I get the chance!
