Sweet Zombie Jesus! This is globviously awesome news. I echo the sentiment that the movies were mediocre, but I'm sure a return to episodic format will be good for the show. I'm personally hoping we'll finally get another "Tales of Interest" episode.
Shit, yes. About damn time!
I'm personally hoping we'll finally get another "Tales of Interest" episode.
Especially if they do another video game themed one. Comfort the widow Pac-Man.
Ouch, 2010? I thought they had been in production since 2008 (read it on Billy West's website). Perhaps that was just the movies.
And speaking of the movies I think they were a good effort. I really liked the first one, which had the most TVish vibe to it. After that they got progressively worse. Probably just a side effect of dragging out a 30 minute show into over an hour (just like that horrible Simpson's movie).
I'm not sure if anyone else feels this way, but Futurama moving to Comedy Central has really killed my interest in it. It's just not the kind of show (let alone the kind of comedy) I expect to see when I flip the channel to Comedy Central. I guess this may have a lot to do with the type of show South Park (and older shows like The Upright Citizens Brigade and Strangers with Candy) are but I don't even make it a priority to watch the new episodes of that (just wait until the boxes come out) so tuning in to watch repeats of Futurama seems so unimportant.
I've been thinking of selling off my seasons 1~4 and the movies, but like the first two boxes of Family Guy they are one of those things I think I'd reget selling if my interest peaked again.
