You all know Super Metroid, the greatest game of all-time. Well, in this age of emulation perfection this masterpiece has been completely overhauled by a -so I've read- very good team of modding professionals. I haven't played it myself cause I'm not ready yet, but to those who are, go check it out.

Did they replace any of the graphics with higher res stuff, or merely alter the pre-existing layouts?
