Do someone know what the resolution of the following are:

360
PS3
Revolution

I assume they can all do 640 x 480-pixel resolution, but is that the max resolution?  Also, has anyone played the 360 on high-def?  If so, what are your impressions?  Thanks!

My friend played Oblivion for a bit at a game store, it looks pretty nice.  Still not enough so to get me to buy a Microsoft game console though.  It would be naive to think any of the next-gen consoles wouldn't support hi-definition, but then again, Nintendo likes to think outside the box/cube compared to Sony and MS, who knows.

Hehe, you were right to be cynical/sarcastic:

Nintendo's hardware won't let it run with the big boys when it comes to powering high-resolution displays like HDTVs. While the Xbox 360 renders graphics at 1280x720 (or 720p), and Sony claims that the PlayStation 3 will render at 1920x1080 (or 1080p), the Revolution will output at 853x480 (or 480p). The good news--you won't need a brand new HDTV to take full advantage of the Revolution.
