Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 Prestige Edition...
Well, that's certainly an interesting ploy to get people to purchase the game... however personally, the only thing I really want in a game (collecting wise) is the soundtrack. A cool DVD would be great too, and a good artbook is fine. Night vision goggles?? Nope, not on my list smile

Still, thought I would check and see what others think. Is anyone here going to put down $150 for the set? Also, my guess is it well sell well, since it's already gotten some bad publicity, but hey bad publicity for such a game is really good publicity.

This was already mentioned and discussed a number of days ago, in this thread.

It should be a neat perk to be sure, and it'll undoubtedly sell like gangbusters.  I said I'd be giving it a pass, but spoken as a gadgetphile, I'm deathly curious to check out its build and see how well the thing works.

As for the potential for "mischief", I don't doubt there will be stories to look forward to.  We can only hope that the majority of people will use them in a responsible enough manner.

How exactly does one use night vision goggles responsibly, or irresponsibly? I'm actually not so sure there's that much you can do with it... unless you're trying to spy on someone in a terribly creepy way. I still think it will sell well, since people like gimmicks.

Use your imagination.  Answers will come.

It won't help in a black hole... once you get past the event horizon light will reach you anyway. Might be highly lensed light though...

What, are you talking about watching people pee in the dark or some shit, Angie? Maybe some creepy voyeur activities? I hope in the future, you can refrain from stealing all my ideas for how to use bizarre and expensive gadgetry. T_T

PS: Avatar? About your threads' title. How can something be new and improved? big_smile

I was throwing around the idea to use them to help me trap those damned possums that come out in the middle of the night. They're sneaky bastards, using the cover of night for their camouflage in order to rummage through my trash.

Well, hopefully they're not as clever as the Raccoons in The Great Outdoors.
