Speaking of Bad Dudes, man, is their Super Dodgeball arranged album "No Balls, No Glory" a hell of a lot of fun.  They definitely milk the ethnic stylings of the original pieces to the fullest, with my favorites being China's Rove You Rong Time, U.S.S.R.'s Red Rocket!, and Japan's Knight Rider with Soy SauceVodkapella is a hilarious take on the Russian-esque ditty that is the Title theme, and the pumping 80s classic VGM styling of U.S.A's All-Stars Doskpop is too delicious.

I think I enjoy Ailsean's alternate take of Team England over Cannon's still excellent Maybe We Should Just Stick To Football.

Head on over to the "ALBUMS/EPS" section for samples and the full download.  Really enjoyable stuff.

Mazedude made a separate website for No Balls, No Glory too - you can stream all the music in a Flash player if that's more your thing. Super Dodge Ball has always been a favorite game and soundtrack of mine, but this EP is the first time I've heard justice done to Sawa's music.

[edit]Oh hey, you already linked the site in your post.

Natch.  It's a more cohesive and user-friendly layout than The Bad Dudes' site, I feel.

I'm not quite up to snuff on my Nekketsu Dodgeball discography knowledge; were there any other arranged albums or official OSTs released for the series?

MUSCLE SPARK does have few tracks from the Nekketsu Dogdeball-games.

Ah right, Jodo Kast was just telling me about that one recently.  I've only heard the Double Dragon "Two Head Dragon" and Renegade tracks (both excellent), but now I'm deathly curious to hear the rest.

How's about a share?

Given what I think I know about your preference in arrangement styles, I have a feeling you'll really dig this, Smeg.  I like Mazedude's rendition of the U.S.A. theme more than what's featured here, but "Cannon Ball" is certainly no slouch.

As mentioned, "Two Head Dragon" is still my favorite: that improvised guitar solo midway KICKS ASS.  "A Men with a Lot of Guts" and "あの娘は恐怖のみすずちゃん" are a lot of fun, too.
