In order...

Love SQ trailer isn't much. At this point all we know is FF will be on it (and maybe Mario Hoops? I see no other reason for that last shot).

Shimomura interview is nice, if all familiar. I did get a kick out of this quote: "I have to say, it will be an easier project than the original because it's being made in Japan. But the director is [Tetsuya] Nomura, so I'm a little worried about what he's going to say or come up with," she jokes.

VG Busts thing was good too, but I would say that 32X deserved a spot on the list more than TMNT ReShelled. The latter's just the latest in a string of underwhelming remakes, the former's a legend among What-Were-They-Thinking business decisions.

Link joke is also familiar, but amusing all the same, at least until the rape joke. But I've been told before I'm fuddy-duddied about such things.

Thanks for sharing.

what is all this junk

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=377740 - terrifying destruction, sweet explosion pics

http://daggerxl.wordpress.com/ - the wait continues

http://www.mediafire.com/?znbwodqz4ej - if you played through all four Mega Man Zero games, you should treat yourself to this translated doujin. No, it's not porn. Just a charming little story with great art.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-TAxm00jOg - Live performance of Tank!. Nothing most of us haven't already seen, but I didn't discover until recently that the sax solo was done by Masato Honda, a talented and experienced saxophone player who worked on several VGM albums (I was checking out who played the wonderful sax on the Gunstar Heroes arrange album).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:A … in_fiction - self explanatory

http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=377842 - rare informative thread on NeoGAF talking about recently released and upcoming RPGs (mainly JRPGs and major western RPGS). I seem to have bookmarked it three times...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAtC1SzWSXg - back to haunt you again, the Chaos Wars dub - created solely to make Sony greenlight an American release of the game.

http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/9/1/1 … arDemo.zip
- for the curious, an mp3 rip of the Japanese Nintendo channel demo of the upcoming Mega Man Battle Network remake for DS which will feature characters from Star Force (I love the series and even I think this is a bit beyond the pale). Sadly, it's pretty boring compared to the nicely done music for the BN5 remake, and the team is still obsessed with songs that loop before you can blink. That said, they might be placeholders - I'm pretty sure download DS demoes can be no larger than 4.5mb, so they might be using old/tiny samples to save space.

Might want to go with buying off of Play-Asia; CD Japan charges more than all get-out for shipping, while Play-Asia might only charge about $3-5 of shipping per item. I'd swear CDJ charges about $10 of shipping per item...

Depends on what kind of shipping you're choosing. I usually just go with registered air mail for CD Japan, right now I have 6 items (CD's) in an order and shipping is only 3160 yen.  Seems ok to me.  Plus I can't even find some of the stuff I have on pre-order with CDJ on Play Asia's site.
