Y'know how, when, you post photos of yourself on the internet, they have the potential of ending up in the wrong hands?

Beyond simply refraining from posting the photos at all, aren't there ways to prevent distribution of said photos, like making it impossible for anyone else to save the photo from where you have it posted, or make it impossible to alter or edit the photo, so they can't alter it to make it look incriminating?

'Cuz, I know you can create protected MP3s, which prevents anyone from altering them...

No, and another no to your last statement.

If you have a protected mp3 in your hands, you can simply run a program that records the audio as it plays off your computer, and you have the audio available to you in a protection-free way.

Thus, for images, the work is *far simpler.* Hit "print screen" and copy into the image-editing software of your choice (usually, Photoshop). No way to protect against that, right?

Damn.

'Cuz I know Adobe Acrobat pdfs can be formatted to prevent you from even printing them...

You'd think someone would give the same option with photos...

Well, thanks for the answer! That solves that!

You understand that that doesn't prevent the use of print screen, right? If you can hear it or see it, it can be captured.

THIS IS USEFUL INFORMATION.

Sincerely though, I had not previously thought of that! Thank you.
