I understand that, when Okami was released on the Wii, they botched up the box art by putting a "9.5 out of 10" label as part of the cover artwork, and then someone posted an "A-Grade" label on the outer shrinkwrapping over the "9.5 out of 10" mark.

Is it true that revised cover artwork, without the "9.5 out of 10" label, was offered to people who bought the game? Is it still possible to obtain that revised cover artwork?

It was actually an IGN watermark. Whoever was working on the cover downloaded some art from IGN and didn't realize they had placed a watermark on it. Whoops.

The time has passed to get the replacement covers from Capcom. Now you have to print them out yourself: http://www.capcom.com/artredemption/

Silly me, hadn't thought to check the official site...thanks for the link!

The bastards...didn't you have to give them your game's serial number, or something, to prove you actually bought the game?

If the thought occurred to me that I'd eventually get it for the Wii, I would've just gotten it even before I got the game, if I didn't have to prove that I'd bought it yet...

I don't believe you actually had to prove that you owned the game to get them to send out the covers.  I think even in the beginning of the offer you could only pick one of them and then later it went up to sending all three.

I nabbed a copy of all 3 covers.  They make neat cubicle art!!

Anybody know where I can go to get printed out a copy of the DVD-cover-sized version of the cover, and on glossy, thick paper, just like the commercial-released thing?

I'm thinking Kinko's, but just in case they're unable to do anything of the sort, I'd need alternatives...

I'd have to slip them a digital copy of the cover, of course, via e-mail, USB, SD card, or what-have-you, so they need access to a computer, too...

Bernhardt, I've got a couple of extras.  Let me know which one you want and I'll ship 'em to ya.
