Personally, I usually find arrange albums a mixed lot. For example, the Rockman X Arrange you mentioned is a very good disc yet there are things about it that made me question it's longevity. I'm all for breaking down conventual norms - something this disc does beautifully - but with the rock aspect so ingrained within the series' musical identity returning to the original in-game audio is more likely in my case.
Anyway, as for recommendations, the one that usually pops into my mind is the 2006 Wild Arms: Music the Best -rocking heart-. The name is a bit of a misnomer as there are all sorts of influences at work in it - rock (duh!), jazz, techno, etc. Some of the best tracks fuse such styles together - the rarely mentioned rock/techno combo in "Ruins: Type 2" proving this quite nicely. Still, the album falls prey to what happens with most arranges I get into, namely a few tracks stick out, those get the most play get to remain and the rest fade away. The Rockman X disc didn't really have this problem however, only "Spark and Shadow ~Power Plant Stage~" falling out of circulation before the whole album did. So, in that sense its feels a lot more consistent than a lot of others.
