I was there (yes, that exact Toys R Us) a few weeks ago!!  I had a gift certificate, and when I went to the TRU in Cambridge, it was closed.  This was the neartest one, and it was in decent shape (they have a nice pile of good $10 GBA games).

For the record, there's three around it closed in Dorchester, Medford, and Cambridge. Why they decided to keep this one alive? I don't know for other purposes than preserving history smile
